about us

Training that brings out the best in your dog

without ever
changing
who they are

We know your dog’s not “just a dog” — they’re family. Whether you’ve got a curious pup, a sensitive soul or a full-on teenage whirlwind, Happipup gives you the support, know-how and confidence to bring out their best… while still letting their personality shine.

We’re proud to be Pangbourne-based and part of a growing community of dog lovers across Reading, Berkshire and Oxfordshire,  many of whom still turn up to classes years after they joined.

Not just because the training works, but because it’s a place to connect, have fun, and feel totally at ease.

No judgement. Just coffee, cake, and really good dog training.

We’re not here to tell you off or make you feel like you’re doing it wrong. We’re here to help – with warm welcomes, waggy tails, and totally force-free, reward-based training that fits your lifestyle.

Sandra

“Cannot recommend Sandra and Happipup enough! Sandra and her team’s love of dogs is so clear and the training classes were fun for us all.”

Sandra is  your guide, coach
and number-one cheerleader.

Her calm, clear approach is backed by years of hands-on experience, continued education, and a genuine love for helping dogs and their humans thrive.

Here’s what she brings to the table:

  • Accredited Dog Trainer and lifelong member of the Dog Training College

  • Licensed Clever Dog Company trainer, mentored by leading behaviourist Sarah Whitehead

  • Pro Dog Trainer since 2018

  • Canine Body Language Instructor

  • Reactive Rascals Instructor

  • Ex-primary school teacher (so yes, we love having kids involved too!)

She also cut her teeth helping and teaching at the RSPCA in Surrey – learning how to support dogs from all walks of life with empathy and skill.

Why it all matters

Happipup was born from experience — not just study. When Sandra’s first dog Wellington was overwhelmed by harsh training methods, it kickstarted a mission: to make sure no dog (or owner) ever feels like that again.

Fifteen years on, Happipup is proof that there’s a better way. Training that builds connection, not fear. That helps dogs fit in, without forcing them to fit a mould. And that gives people a place to learn, grow, and celebrate progress — with a biscuit in one hand and a lead in the other.
