Pre–Puppy Consultation
Planning ahead makes all the difference. If you’re preparing to welcome a puppy into your home, our Pre-Puppy Consultation will help you feel ready, calm, and confident from the start.
Here’s what we’ll cover:

How to get housetraining right from day one.

Creating a cosy, secure set-up for your new arrival.

Setting expectations (and staying sane!).

Feeding routines, enrichment ideas (think Kongs, lick mats and snuffle mats).

Gentle exposure to new experiences and environments.
This is also a great time to ask questions, and we love questions! We’ll give you tailored advice based on your home, your schedule and your pup’s needs.
Puppy Training Classes
Our friendly puppy training Reading classes take place in Upper Basildon, just outside Pangbourne, with easy access for families across West Berkshire.

Four indoor sessions, plus one outdoor session in the village.

Weekly email recaps to keep you on track.

WhatsApp group for bite-size training videos and community support.

1:1 advice during the course as needed.

Handouts and help with common issues like nipping, toilet training, crate comfort and social confidence.
Once you’ve completed these beginner classes, you can move into our ongoing Grow Your Superstar Dog sessions — perfect for keeping progress going and staying connected.
You’ll also get access to our Swap and Share boxes, filled with helpful kit you can borrow or try out.
Once you’ve completed this course, you’ll be invited to join our ‘Grow Your Superstar Dog’ sessions — so your pup’s progress doesn’t have to stop when the course does.
We even have a Swap & Share box in class because let’s face it, puppies grow faster than you can say “where are my shoes?”
We offer different levels of support to suit you and your pup
whether you’re after a little guidance or the full VIPaw treatment. Whichever you choose, you can count on expert advice,
a friendly atmosphere, and treat pouches that are always well-stocked!
